Last Thursday, Tom Heisey (me), gave a presentation on the latest NASA news, including the X-59 QueSST first flights, Parker Solar Probe’s (PSP) 28th encounter with the Sun’s atmosphere, and some of the photos from the manned Artemis mission looping around the Moon. I’ve updated the text, added slides, and did a bit more research based on questions from the meeting.
I’ve also placed links to additional info in the description or text of each slide. Many of those pages can lead you down some of the same rabbit holes I explored while writing the presentation! Next month, I’ll continue with the science of Artemis and more NASA news.
If this type of info interests you, you are welcome to come to our meetings free of charge. We meet the third Thursday of the month at St. John’s UMC (15th & University across from Texas Tech campus) starting with a short business meeting at 7pm.
