While anyone can attend our monthly meetings and public events, there are additional benefits to being a member of the South Plains Astronomy Club. These include participating in private observing events at our dark-sky sites and the Annual South Plains Astronomy Club “Star-BQ” (combined star party and barbecue), receiving the Astronomical League’s quarterly magazine “The Reflector”, and being eligible to participate in the numerous Observing Programs and Awards sponsored by the Astronomical League.
Membership also gives you access to official merchandise, like the South Plains Astronomy Club baseball cap.
Regular membership is $30 per year. You have three easy ways to pay:
- Attend one of our monthly meetings and tell the Club Treasurer that you want to join. The Treasurer will receive your dues and contact information to get you on the Members’ List.
- Mail a check with your name and email to:
